These evaluations are completed following arrest for a substance-abuse related driving offense in order to assess an individual’s level of potential substance abuse, mental status, and decision making ability. Ultimately, this evaluation is completed for the purpose of determining whether an individual is in need of treatment. The cost for this treatment includes all needed letters and paperwork submitted to attorneys or courts. If an individual is found in need of treatment, that treatment can potentially be completed with our office or a referral can be made to an alternate clinic or provider.

GENERAL SUBSTANCE ABUSE EVALUATIONS

These evaluations are completed following arrest for a substance-abuse related offense (i.e., Criminal Possession, etc) in order to assess an individual’s level of potential substance abuse, mental status, and need for treatment if applicable. This evaluation can be sought voluntarily or can be court ordered if needed. The fees for this type of evaluation vary depending on allegations, type of substance involved, and charges.

OASAS IMPAIRED DRIVER EVALUATIONS

These evaluations are completed following arrest for a substance-abuse related driving offense (i.e., DWI or DWAI) in order to assess an individual’s level of potential substance abuse, mental status, and decision making ability. This evaluation can be sought voluntarily or can be court ordered if needed. This evaluation is generally completed for the purpose of determining whether an individual is in need of treatment. The fee for this type of evaluation includes all appointments, paperwork, and clinical services required per NYS regulations.
